Uovo alla Pop

The new gallery will be open on April 2018

Uovo alla Pop works on contemporary, pop and urban art, a public art that cares about the space where she operates and through exhibition and events, Uovo alla Pop wants to link the relationship between local culture and the artistic vision.

The gallery is active in Livorno since June 2017, in Garibaldi district, one of the most difficult district pf the city with a very interesting history but victim of neglect that wasted its colorful soul.

Thanks to the activities that took place in the gallery that is also an important meeting space, we had as guest important artist such as Clet Abraham and art critics and curators as Francesco Bonami. All the events have always seen many people taking part both from the city and the district.

In November 2018 the gallery created the project “parete aperta” where shutters of closed shops took life again through the street art, colors and faces depicted create a little street district gallery.

The cultural association is composed by four women, representing design, painting, writing, architecting, tourism that from a while organize great events in abandoned lieu as “Bagitto”, art festival “Art-on”, and pop-up stores of design objects and works of art.
