Founded in 2009, Tristan Hoare is a multi-layered gallery focusing on both young and established artists working in a variety of mediums. African photography, glass, textiles and drawing are all areas of interest, with a developing passion for Korean and Japanese ceramics.

The gallery was originally based at Lichfield Studios, the former headquarters of the famous English photographer, Patrick Lichfield. Having established a presence in Notting Hill during its first five years, the gallery has now relocated to 6 Fitzroy Square, a Grade I listed Georgian townhouse.

Exhibitions are executed with the intention of telling a story and connecting with both seasoned collectors and people less familiar with the art world. Each year we curate an ambitious exhibition with an overarching theme. Geometrica (2018), Botanica (2019), Folds (2021) The Cinference of the Birds (2022) and Paper (2023)  have enabled us to collaborate with multiple artists and galleries and combine artworks from the BC to the present day.
