Trip Space Projects is a new and innovative cultural space providing progressive activities for contemporary performance and social engagement. We're situated in two converted railway arches in Acton Mews, just off the Regents Canal in Haggerston (Hackney).

Our passion is for dance, movement, music and physical theatre and we cultivate an environment in which the body, the ecology of the being and the social cultural landscape are engaged through a range of learning practices, artistic events, social interactions.TripSpace Projects welcomes devised theatre, contemporary choreography and improvisation and it has a soft spot for artistic forms of expressions that don't fit mainstream categories

In addition to regular nights of cutting edge and experimental performance, we offer a variety of physical/movement based classes, (yoga, contact improvisation, contemporary dance, pilates, somatic practices and more), including workshops led by top European professionals, all in our beautiful studio.

Our vibrant café/bar TripKitchen is in the arch next door to the studio and the food on offer rotates with residencies - Hackney's famed Breddos Tacos are currently resident in our Kitchen serving their twist on modern Mexican inspired food until the end of September 2014. With its outdoor terrace overlooking the canal, it's a great place to chill, drink, and eat great food on a warm day, or cozied up inside the brick arch in more inclement weather. We have regular events in the Kitchen too, usually featuring live music.
