Travel Information

Bus: There is a regular bus service from Northallerton to Ripon which passes through Thirsk. The Thirsk Bus station is in the middle of the market square, which is a two-minute walk from Thirsk Hall Sculpture Park.
Train: Thirsk has its own train station that is 20 minute walk from Thirsk Hall Sculpture Park. LNER and Grand Central trains run regularly from Sunderland, Edinburgh, York and London.

Thirsk Hall Sculpture Garden is curated by Willoughby Gerrish and showcases modern and contemporary art. The Sculpture Garden is situated within 20 acres of garden and parkland belonging to Thirsk Hall, a historic grade II* listed Town House located in North Yorkshire.

In addition to the outdoor sculptures there are also two indoor gallery spaces within the garden, The Orangery and Gallery One which opened in 2022. Exhibitions which have been held in Gallery One include, Jeff Lowe: Sculpture Near Distance, David Hockney Early Etchings and Drawings, and Gordon House paintings.
