Theater of Youth Creativity (TYuT) is the oldest children's theater in Europe. The Youth Theater School was founded on April 22, 1956 by the teacher and director Matvey Grigoryevich Dubrovin in the Palace of Pioneers in Leningrad. One of the important components of the Theater of Youth Creativity is its history, which over the many years of its existence has acquired an extensive list of big names and significant events. TYUT is an amazing theater where children not only play on the stage, but also control the light, sound, create props, costumes, scenery, paint makeup with their own hands. Everyone here is passionate about their work. Today's TYUT is more than two hundred young Petersburgers aged 12 to 18 years, but a network of over 15 creative groups and 10 creative workshops.
