The Lightbox is new public gallery and museum in Woking, Surrey. Opened to the public on September 15, 2007, it has already won the The Art Fund Prize 2008.

Housed in a stunning contemporary building desinged by Marks Barfield Architects - the team behind the London Eye -The Lightbox has two of the most exciting gallery spaces in the South East.

The programme covers a huge range of exhibitions and events, changing monthly. These include contemporary art from local and nationally famous artists, as well as loans from major museums and galleries in the UK and overseas.

Entrance is free, with some charges applying to special exhibitions.
