Tube / Metro: On leaving the station, turn right into Station Parade and head towards the pedestrianised shopping area.
Bus: Bus routes 5, 62, 169, 238, 287, 366, 368, 387, EL1 and EL2 all run to or through Barking Town Centre.
Train: The nearest British Rail and Underground station is Barking. Barking is on the C2C line, The London Overground, and is served by the District and Hammersmith and City lines.
The town centre and it's beautifully architectured buildings and arboretum were featured in MSN's 'Twenty of the most brilliant new buildings on Earth' in November 2010.

Since its opening it has fast become a hotbed of art displays for the borough. Ever changing, the Gallery is programmed 6-9 months in advance of each booking.
The Council's Arts and Cultural Development team manage and promote the gallery's programme throughout the year ensuring there is a diverse range of art work to view from professional and amateur artists, to community groups and schools.
