The Canvas Cafe is a not-for-profit café and creative venue just off Brick Lane in East London that provides all the things you need to spark new ideas and nurture your creativity.

We support innovation and encourage creativity by hosting inspiring events that support your emotional health & well being, plus our walls are a blank canvas for your thoughts, ideas, secrets and stories.

Our delicious, homemade food is made with free range, ethically sourced ingredients, and we cater for a wide range of diets incuding vegan and gluten free.

Our events include everything from workshops and talks to comedy and live theatre.  We are committed to building a strong community, so if you’re looking for a space to explore your ideas, we’d love to hear how you'd like to join us.

Officially launched as London's first Happy Cafe in 2015, we want to be your Happy Place in London; to provide a place where you can express yourself, be inspired by others and become part of an ever-evolving piece of live art.
