A Beautiful Art Gallery, Shop & Tea Room in Farsley, Leeds

Sunny Bank Mills Gallery is an art, design and culture space housed in a light and tranquil 3000 sq ft old cloth warehouse.

It houses a shop selling unique and affordable work by local designer makers and a small tea room allowing you to sit and enjoy the art and tranquility of the space with fresh coffee and home-made cake.

The Gallery is the creative hub of the Mill and the local community, playing host to a rolling exhibition programme of art by local artists, supporting the performing-arts and concerts within the mill spaces and providing a venue to hire for small events.

We have a growing programme of courses and workshops for all abilities including life drawing, photography, felt making and ceramics

The Gallery manages the new Spinning Mill Studios; home to a number of local artists and makers, our artist in residence and a drop in workshop-space.

The unique Sunny Bank Mills Archive is not only home to the heritage of the mill and it’s people but also a resource and inspiration to artists and makers.

Our ambition is to offer accessible art and design for everyone. We support and encourage local artists, makers and performers and are proud of our heritage and warm welcome.
