Train: We are located at 34-01 38th Ave between 34th & 35th St, just off Northern Blvd (Behind 7-11/Shell Gas Station) -R/M trains to 36th St stop, Queens, exit at 34th st stairs, across Northern is our bldg behind 7-11/Shell gas -N/W trains to 39th Ave Stop, walk 1 short block to Northern Blvd, go east (left) to 34th St, go to 7-11/Shell gas we are behind that block -E train to Queens Plaza, exit at 41st Ave stairs, walk east 4 blocks (walk away from Citibank Bldg/the bridge is north)or transfer to R train go 1 stop to 36th St stop, exit at 34th St stairs. -7 train to Queensboro Plaza, walk south to Northern Blvd/Qns Plaza So.) (walk away from 59th St Br) go left/east 4 blocks (walk away from Citibank Bldg) -59th St Bridge lower roadway, turn left Northern Blvd/Qns Plaza So.
STUDIO 34 is located in Long Island City in the famous Harrolds Motor Company’s Pierce-Arrow Building built in 1913. It is a 4 story industrial building which has a multi-colored brick facade embellished with brick & terra cotta string courses & diamond patterned spandrels. Designed by New York architects Griffin & Wynkoop it is filled with windows to allow for generous natural light.
We are a growing creative community of emerging & professional artists & designers. Working in all disciplines including painters, sculptors, photographers, costume designers, web designers, architects, interior designers, industrial designers, textile designers, illustrators, accessory designers, film makers, directors, fashion designers, istallation artists, aerial artists. Situated in one of New York’s largest artist neighborhoods within walking distance to Museums, Galleries & Play Houses. Studio 34 Gallery hosts openings & events for resident artists & curated shows.
