STILL is a new photography gallery of a different kind will opencurated by fine art photographer Claudio Ahlers in his unique home in Greenbank, Bristol.

Situated in a quiet residential street just by Greenbank Cemetery and The Old Chocolate Factory, STILL will be a photography experience like no other.

Visitors to the gallery will encounter ambitious and meaningful photographs outside of conventional white wall settings as his unique home is transformed into a theatre of creative appreciation and artistic contemplation.

An imaginarium for the senses where exquisitely crafted choreographies lead visitors through captivating photography imbedded in original music, sounddesign, costume design, theatrical performance and poetry.

STILL will host five exhibitions throughout 2020: shows will explore the other side of the soul withdeeply enigmatic photographs from Claudio's series IM DUNKELN, combine photography with sculpture on the theme of love, portraying the life and times of Daryl Hembrough - truly extraordinary Bristol personality and model, discovering The Unseen in a blind collaboration between Claudio Ahlers and inspirational Bristol photographer Karen Patchell and laying bare our feelings about and perceptions of nudity in a fine art photography show with a difference.

All opening nights at STILL will be followed by a four-week period where visitors will be able to arrange private viewings for the current exhibition.

At the same time a communal rite of art contemplation at the public private views and a rare opportunity for individuals or smaller groups to walk straight into an artist’s creative soul at arranged private performances, STILL is an experience like no other.

Giclé prints of the photography on show together with original music, written word and sound documentation from each exhibition will be for sale at the gallery.

Capacity is limited to twenty people at the private views. Viewings are by appointment only thereafter.

Tickets for the opening receptions can be booked via www.eventbrite.com.
