starprojects

starprojects is a programme on the the discovery of young emerging artists initiated by Star Art Organization in 2015. The 8000-square-foot art space in Shatin, Hong Kong serves as a major venue for its presentation. 

Through major exhibitions, starprojects work with emerging artists, curators and other practitioners who have not previously had significant exposure in Hong Kong, providing them with an environment to conceptualize, produce and realize their ideas. The programme aims to contribute and critically challenge the intellectual and artistic status quo in Hong Kong and China, and to serve as a meeting place for exchange, promoting the continued development of the Hong Kong and Chinese art scene.
