Scaffold Gallery is a gallery institution without a gallery building. We produce unique pop-up exhibitions in a variety of places, showing and promoting early career artists.
Our projects exist to give emerging artists interesting exhibiting opportunities, by creating unique "concept" exhibitions, shows with strong themes which the artists directly respond to with new works.
We aim to be a support structure, a facilitator and a promoter for artists, and also to be an open system that anyone can use. We organise exhibitions with ourselves, often putting out open calls for artists to respond to, but we also support other curators and artists in creating their own exhibitions.
