Ruth Smith Gallery was founded by artist Ruth Helen Smith, who began curating exhibitions at locations across London. Since moving to a permanent space in North Tawton, Ruth Smith Gallery continues to be an artist take-over of the concept of a gallery, where artists are brought together to create and direct new visual dialogues, to develop their practice and stand on a platform which involves a wider audience. Ruth Smith Gallery also offers art residencies and art classes.
