Travel Information

Bus: Newport bus station is situated in the Newport Town Centre, which is a 5 minute walk from Quay Arts.

Quay Arts is a registered arts charity situated within a grade II listed ex-brewery warehouse originally built in the 1870's on the banks of the River Medina, and is the leading Arts Centre on the Isle of Wight. Quay Arts supports the development and display of new work by contemporary visual artists.

The West Gallery was designed by award-winning architect Tony Fretton (Camden Arts Centre, Lisson Gallery, ArtSway) and presents work of national and international interest. It has hosted eclectic exhibitions including solo shows by Andy Goldsworthy, Kurt Jackson, Martin Creed, Vija Celmins and Richard Long.

As a registered charity, every penny we raise is reinvested into our artistic programmes, exhibitions, events and facilities, supporting the delivery of arts and cultural activities to our local community.
