Photowerk Berlin provides unique knowledge and inspiration about historical and contemporary photography. Together with experienced artists, we discover analogous techniques, photographic productions, Natural portraits, architecture or places that make Berlin specifically. Who are we?
Norbert Wiesneth, born in 1972 in Munich, lives in Berlin since 1997th He studied art, photography and multimedia in Italy and Spain, until he completed his studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin with Rebecca Horn in 2000th Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad prove his artistic activities, which deal mainly with the change of locations. He is a founding member of the gallery Axel Obiger and the exhibition project space. Even in 2009 he was appointed member of the German Photographic Academy.
Cameron Scott, g orn 1975 in Los Angeles, has lived in Berlin since of 2002. He studied photography in Los Angeles and San Francisco until he graduated from the New School for Photography graduated in Berlin with Eva Bertram in 2010. He is mainly interested in new photographic expression, which oscillate between art and science. After one year of assistance in Photowerk Berlin he took over in 2015 the position of Co-Director.
