Established in 2011, Peritechnon Karteris is a contemporary art gallery in the center of  Athens occupying a fully reconstructed  historical space in Kolonaki square at Irodotou 5 Street.

The gallery identifies and fosters some of the young international talent, representing 18 artists from Greece and Italy. It is this element of discovery and re-discovery, that has established Peritechnon Karteris as one of Athens leading contemporary art galleries.

The gallery has established a strong international profile globally through a broad spectrum of projects and collaborations with galleries, museums, art institutions, curators and artists.

Peritechnon Karteris gallery artists have works acquired by international museums such as thein the Museum for Contemporary Art of the 1900s in Monsummano – Italy,  the Hungarian Open Air Museum at Szentendre (Budapest) in Hungary, the Museum Kresow of Lubaczow in Poland, the Queens College in New York, USA, the Consulate General of Greece, New York, USA and  the Italian American Museum, New York, USA, the Goulandris Museum, The Moschandreou Collection, the Fellios Collection,  the Frissiras Museum Collection, the Benaki Museum and many more.

Gallery artists have been included in the International Beijing Biennale, the Thessaloniki and Athens Biennale, in Milano Expo 2015 and in other international art fairs  and museum  exhibitions.

Further extending its program to a wider audience, the gallery has participated constantly in Athens art fair from 2011 until now.
