Established in 1960, Pamėnkalnio Gallery is the oldest non-state gallery in Lithuania that represents the work of both local and foreign, acknowledged and emerging professional artists. The Gallery operates in the exhibition halls in the heart of Vilnius City – Pamėnkalnio Gallery (1 Pamėnkalnio St). Many solo and group exhibitions of visual art are organised here every year.
The Gallery has been also initiating and implementing artistic, social and educational projects in Lithuania and abroad, taking part in art fairs and auctions, publishing books, and selling works of art.
The Gallery aims to act dynamically in the field of modern and contemporary art, to promote the work of professional artists, curators and art critics, and to stimulate artistic processes both locally and internationally.
