Outpost Artist Resource is Open Monday to Friday,
and on weekends for special events (check calendar).
However, editing sessions and room rentals may occur outside these hours, but are arranged on a case by case basis.
The Outpost hosts screenings and artists talks by past, present, or future residents, who are invited to curate show either of their own work or a group show of related artists. We also curate and present single evening events that pair historic and contemporary video art with live experimental music, dance and performance. and lastly, we invite local curators to create gallery shows that include video on themes of their choosing.
The Outpost’s location in Bushwick/Ridgewood contains few venues where it is possible to gather for video screenings, music, dance and performance on a regular basis, where people can present and discuss art in a dynamic setting and connect with members of their community.
