OHOS is an artist-led centre based in Reading that fosters excellence in contemporary art and provides affordable studio and exhibition space for artists. Its education and exhibition program is open to all and promotes public access to visual art and artists. Since its foundation in 1980 in a former military keep, its studios or exhibition spaces have been used by well over 100 artists, including Cornelia Parker, Douglas Gordon, Paula Rego and Andy Goldsworthy. There are regular residencies for new visual arts graduates. OHOS was set up in 1995 as an Industrial and Provident Society with charitable status.

A note to first-time visitors: We are located in Brock Keep, which is is next to Brock Barracks and the entrances are separate. On foot enter through the gates as shown in our venue profile photo. If driving turn into Brock Gardens and enter through the double gates. Parking is free for visitors.
