Old Jet is a unique arts centre on the old ex-U.S. Air Force Base, Bentwaters Parks, in Rendlesham. The heart of Old Jet is a two storey ex-maintenance office block that now provides studio and office space for the arts. It is home to painters, photographers, writers, clothing designers, musicians, etc. At Old Jet we put on regular concerts and events, run classes and workshops and also have a monthly film club. We have many flexible spaces that are frequently used for filming, photo-shoots and rehearsals. We also run a market on the first Saturday of every month with vintage clothing and furniture, jewellery, art and great food.
We have a free artist residency programme which is now full for 2021. We will be booking 2022 in October.
