Located in Berlin, NOME stands at the crossroads of art, technology, and politics. Since its founding by Luca Barbeni in 2015, NOME has been committed to presenting works that explore the experiences of both the past and the present — ethnographic explorations of Indigenous and Black counter-narratives are articulated alongside critical engagement with pressing contemporary issues such as the impact of technology on human interaction.

The gallery’s program features a diverse roster of international emergent and mid-career artists who engage with critical global issues through a variety of media, including digital art, time-based art, and performance.

NOME’s artists regularly participate in significant institutional exhibitions and biennials. The gallery has taken part in international art fairs including ARCOmadrid, The Armory Show, Art Basel Statements, Artissima, EXPO Chicago, and Feria Material, among others.
