Nitra Gallery

NITRA Gallery was established in Thessaloniki in 1994. 2012 was a turning point for the gallery as it changed location, name and developed its portfolio incorporating new media and emerging artists.

Its new exhibition space is located at the ground floor of a neoclassical building in the neighborhood of the Ancient Roman Forum- downtown Thessaloniki, where the old bourgeoisie once resided, and which now has given room to the artistic community of the city.

Combining Nitra’s strong commitment to contemporary art and its location in Thessaloniki, the gallery’s geographical area of focus resides in the Balkan & Eastern Europe, representing both Greek and international artists.
