The National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of paintings in the world. These pictures belong to the British public and admission to see them is free.
The collection contains over 2,300 works, dating from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century, with artists including Titian, Monet, Rembrandt and Van Gogh.
Every day you can learn more about the paintings by joining a free guided tour, lunchtime talk, or using an audio guide. On Fridays you can also visit the gallery after hours for special events and activities.
