The Museum nestles amidst the old Victorian buildings that used to be home to the Royal Worcester factory and is just two minutes’ walk from Worcester Cathedral, the Worcester and Birmingham canal, River Severn and the city centre. It has completed a major refurbishment and now, as well as displaying the world’s largest collection of Worcester porcelain, tells the story of manufacturing, decoration, trade and life as the workers knew it over during its 250-year history. Past factory workers regularly demonstrate their skills in the galleries and new interactives make this a great destination for all the family.
Registered with the Charity Commission as the Dyson Perrins Museum Trust and known as the Museum of Royal Worcester, the Museum is governed by a volunteer board of trustees and generates income from visitor entrance, commercial activities fundraising, grants and donations.
