Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Cogliandrino (MACC)

MACC - Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Cogliandrino – is a non-profit artist-run space created by Stephen Nelson with the aim of bringing contemporary art to Basilicata in southern Italy.

MACC's premiere incarnation is an isolated local bus stop on the edge of Pollino National Park, Basilicata. It is hoped that the space will ultimately become a valued feature of the community enabling international artists to explore and realise unique ideas and radical concepts within this little-known area of Italy.

MACC's aim is to put back some of the fun in exhibiting art, allowing artists to experiment and take risks in a new and unusual venue.
