Metroland Cultures is an arts charity that works in the London Borough of Brent. Our mission is to build, share and support art and culture in the borough. We work with the communities around us to amplify their stories of life here. And we support artists to tell new ones.

Our artist development programme, Peer-to-Peer, includes free studio space in our building for one year. Artists on the programme use our gallery to test new work or as a site of further production. We have a rolling programme of exhibitions open to the public and free to visit. Studio residents also use our spaces to hold special events such as dance performances, screenings and creative workshops.

We commission artists to create new work. We hold conversations about what the borough needs with artists and grassroots organisations, and together work out how we might use art to make it happen.

We also create the Brent Biennial, a borough-wide visual arts biennal.
