Masters Projects was founded in New York City by gallerist Todd Masters. The gallery actively represents an international group of contemporary artists, embracing diverse artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, mixed-media, street art, photography and installation. Artists represented have exhibited in museums and galleries world-wide, and are regularly included in various international art fairs. Established in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood, Masters Projects has an airy, 3,000 square foot space with multiple rooms, allowing for intimate or expansive exhibition formats.

In 2008, Masters stepped away from the 'Blue Chip' art market to pursue his goal of creating an innovative forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely unseen young artists or by international artists whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in the US. Since then, Masters has become recognized for his commitment to a rigorous curatorial model and known for presenting solo and thematic group exhibitions by artists, never before shown in the US, who have gone on to be included in prestigious museum collections.
