MARS / Milan Artist Run Space is a flawed white-cube whose aim is to host, promote and nurture a series of exhibitions, art events and performances on the model of the most notorious artist-run spaces in Europe.
Founded in 2008 and directed by Lorenza Boisi, with present co-directors Yari Miele and Fabio Carnaghi, MARS has exhibited more than 200 artists offering a cross section of both young and affirmed, Italian and international contemporary art practice within a fully non imperative, non lucrative approach.
