'Women Making History' brings together more than 100 extraordinary textile banners made by artists and women’s groups across the UK for PROCESSIONS, a mass participation artwork which took place on 10 June 2018, featuring tens of thousands of women and girls who owned the streets for a day, brandishing banners emblazoned with messages of solidarity, anger and hope for women’s rights. The exhibition invites the public to process recent events, examine the pace of progress and be inspired to keep pushing for change.
