  • In aid of Asia’s Wildlife Charity, Elephant Family, in partnership with Clarence Court, the Big Egg Hunt will run from 24th March - 27th April, 2025.

This Easter, wildlife charity Elephant Family and Clarence Court are uniting some of the world’s renowned creatives to bring a city-wide spectacle of egg-celent art. London is set to be dazzled by over 100 decorated large-scale eggs, brought to life by iconic names in not only art, but also design, interiors, food and retail. With the likes of Anya Hindmarch, LUAP, Fortnum & Mason, Philip Colbert, Duncan Campbell & Charlotte Rey involved, this amalgamation of talented creators guarantees a spectacle for the whole City to enjoy.

From 24th March to 27th April, 2025, everyone is invited to find the scattered 2ft egg sculptures as part of a free-to-view trail across iconic locations and landmarks. From historic neighbourhoods like Chelsea, Canary Wharf, Covent Garden and Marble Arch, to famous cornerstones in London’s rich tapestry, such as Battersea Power Station, The Barbican, The British Museum and The Royal Albert Hall, each landmark provides the perfect backdrop to witness an exhibition like no other whilst exploring the Capital.

Members of the public will be able to “collect the eggs” they find, ticking them off on a free app which is set to reveal prizes along the way. When the exhibition ends, these incredible sculptures will be auctioned to raise vital funds for Elephant Family.

Elephant Family has enchanted the world with its public art displays since 2003; crafting masterpieces that not only captivate the imagination but also stir hearts and ignite change. Founded by HRH The Queen’s late brother, the visionary Mark Shand, Elephant Family stands as a beacon of hope for Asian wildlife conservation. It is the only charity of which The King and Queen are joint Presidents. Princess Eugenie is also a longstanding Patron.

In 2012, Mark Shand launched the Big Egg Hunt in London to raise money and awareness for the plight of the Asian Elephant and it was such a success that two years later, he took the idea to New York City. In 2024, The Little Egg Hunt, featuring 12 designs from names including Charlotte and Philip Colbert, returned to Chelsea in London, acting as a prelude to the 2025 trail, which aims to represent creativity within the city, free for all to enjoy.

Richard Hawkes, CEO of Elephant Family said: “The Big Egg Hunt is a vibrant celebration of art and conservation which can be enjoyed by everyone.  We’re delighted it’s coming back to London and hope the exhibition will spark bigger conversations about protecting wildlife as well as raising vital funds to support our conservation work.”

Adrian Gott, CEO of Clarence Court eggs, added: “We are thrilled to be the main sponsor of The Big Egg Hunt 2025 in London, which brings together art, community, and the joy of discovery. At Clarence Court, we are passionate about celebrating the uniqueness of eggs, and this event, with over 100 beautifully designed giant eggs, is the perfect way to showcase creativity and bring excitement to the city.  I’ve no doubt the public will take great joy in unearthing these beautifully designed giant eggs in London next Easter.”

At the heart of the Big Egg Hunt is a noble mission to generate vital funds for on-the-ground projects, championed by the Royal charity, Elephant Family. With every egg hunted, the Charity and the designer involved, hope to raise awareness of critical conservation issues, to make art accessible to all and to start conversations about conservation.
