Founded in 2023, L'INAPERÇU is a new kind of address dedicated to photography and bistronomy. Half bookstore, half restaurant, the hybrid space is located at 65 Rue Beaubourg, in the heart of the Marais, between the Centre Pompidou and the Arts et Métiers.
Paying homage to literary and photographic Paris, L'INAPERÇU revisits the classics of the Parisian urban landscape. In the bookshop, the traditional news-stand is transformed to accommodate the curation of the moment; the emblematic bouquinistes boxes leave the quays of the Seine to open up in the Marais, as showcases and displays for photography books. The restaurant, meanwhile, is decorated with photographic references, including books, posters, prints and even a darkroom... All in a soft, luminous celadon blue, L'INAPERÇU's signature color. L'INAPERÇU is a new place to live in the heart of artistic Paris, to the delight of taste buds and pupils alike.
