The Lime Tree An Ealdhain gallery is a purpose built space that hosts public touring and commercial contemporary exhibitions in Fort William, Highlands.

As well as giving contemporary artists a platform to exhibit and sell their work, the art gallery prides itself in bringing major public exhibitions from national collections and archives to the West Highlands of Scotland. Previous public exhibitions include Francisco Goya, David Hockney, Andy Goldsworthy and Frank Hurley.
Future public exhibitions include 'Matisse: Drawing with Scissors' from the Hayward Gallery Touring.

Around such public shows the gallery runs a programme of commercial exhibitions.

The art gallery is also the studio base for gallery artist David Wilson and Mohamed Sardo whose work is on display and readily available at the art gallery.

The Lime Tree An Ealdhain is not only a 4* arts venue but is also a 3* small hotel and 2AA Rosette and Eat Scotland Silver restaurant, one of the top 13 in Scotland according to the Relish Guide. Why not come to the Lime Tree and VIEW - DINE - STAY

'An Ealdhain' is Gaelic for 'a place of creativity' - something which we believe embodies all elements of the business.
