La Plataforma is an art gallery and creative production studio that opened its doors in December 2010 in a restored former printing house in Poblenou, Barcelona. The gallery collaborates with both emerging and established contemporary artists, from Spain and around the world, to present high-quality and relevant artistic proposals. While photography, painting, and illustration are the most common mediums, all artistic disciplines—sculpture, screen printing, graphic design, video art, etc.—have been or are currently represented in exhibitions throughout its history.
Beyond being an art gallery, La Plataforma is also a creative production studio. It is here that Poblenou Urban District was born—a private, non-profit association that, since its inception in 2012, has been promoting Poblenou as Barcelona’s art and creativity district through events, communication campaigns, and by bringing together the city’s largest creative community.
As a multidisciplinary space, La Plataforma hosts gastronomic events, afterworks, DJ sets, and various cultural and creative activities. Additionally, the venue is available for private and corporate events, workshops, film shoots, photography sessions, and more.
