Risks and side effects 

A project by sculpture students of weißensee kunsthochschule berlin, in the small water reservoir Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin.

Risks and side effects are part of life and art. 
Almost three years of crisis have shown: There is no avoidance strategy that does not entail its own "side effects". It's a question of weighting and balance, how we deal with uncertainties and hazards. 

Weighting and balance are elementary artistic/sculptural questions.
In the small water reservoir, students and the teaching team led by else Gabriel juxtapose sculptures, installations, paintings, drawings, photographs, films, and performances with the impressive architecture. The spectrum and diversity of the works prove: Experimenting, breaking boundaries, making designs and processes public, developing one's own, artistic language - this requires space, time, exchange and physical presence.
