Kare Art Gallery

Kare Art Gallery, founded in 1991 and since then managed by Fatma Saka, is one of the leading galleries in Istanbul, presenting contemporary art. Starting with the artists who mostly have generated the unique visual language of post 1960 Contemporary Turkish Abstract  movement, Gallery revised its programme for promoting and supporting emerging art from different disciplines. In addition to more than 200 exhibitions, Kare Art Gallery participates in several contemporary art events while expanding its activities to international art platforms.  Also the library including publications from global art literature and the art collection which brings together the significant pieces of post 1960 Turkish art, have been formed within that period.
