James Hyman Gallery specialises in vintage photography and 20th Century British Art.

James Hyman Fine Art specialises in International Contemporary and Modern British Art. The gallery works with a select number of Artists and Artists Estates. In recent years its exhibition programme has included painting, drawing, sculpture, prints, installation and video. 

James Hyman Fine Art is also actively looking to acquire new stock. If you are looking to sell and would like an alternative to the uncertainty of auctions in the present financial climate, please contact the gallery.

The exhibition programme focuses on art of the last fifty years. It has a particular emphasis on the relationship between abstraction and figuration, painting and various forms of contemporary art. 
Exhibitions include solo shows as well as specially curated, thematic group exhibitions. 

The gallery also has an active publication programme of catalogues and books. Recent Publications include: James Hyman, Derrick Greaves. From Kitchen-Sink to Shangri-La , Lund Humphries, 2007 and Michael Andrews - A Complete Catalogue of Paintings and Hughie O'Donoghue - A Complete Catalogue of Paintings.
