Harris Lindsay is a continuation of a company established in 1967, firstly as Phillips & Harris, then as Jonathan Harris and for the last fifteen years as Harris Lindsay. The business is owned by Bruce Lindsay and Marieke MacMahon.
The company operates discreetly from large premises behind double doors in London's Jermyn Street. We are unusual in dealing very broadly, in English, Continental and Oriental works of art of all kinds and periods. The company has always been known for its eclecticism and for an interest in the historically significant and the unusual, and amongst our clients are over sixty museums and public collections all over the world.
We exhibited this year and last at the BADA Fair in London in March. Previously we have exhibited at The European Fine Art Fair, TEFAF, in Maastricht in March (for ten years), at the International Fine Art and Antique Dealers' Show, IFAADS, in New York in October (twenty years), and at the Grosvenor House Fair in London in June (over thirty years).
We are members of the British Antique Dealers' Association (BADA) and the Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d'Art (CINOA) and The Association of Art and Antique Dealers (LAPADA).
