Harkawik New York

Harkawik was founded by curator and artist Peter Harkawik. Harkawik organized his first exhibition, focused on the late New Zealand filmmaker Darcy Lange, in 2009. He went on to create a series of large-scale surveys, including Touchy Feely (2011), Made in Space (2013), and Walk Artisanal (2016), before establishing his first permanent location in Mid City, Los Angeles, in 2018. Following several successful exhibitions there, Harkawik opened his first New York gallery in late 2020. Located on the Lower East Side, Harkawik New York has since presented 39 exhibitions. Now in its fifth year, Harkawik will expand to a new Hollywood location in Summer 2023. The gallery represents 14 artists and is a proud member of NADA and Gallery Platform Los Angeles. We do not accept or review unsolicited submissions, nor do we rent out any of our spaces for events.
