Hamburg Kennedy Photographs (HKP) is the preeminent private art advisory service that emphasizes a highly-individualized, client-oriented approach to art investment. Holding the ideals of trust and friendship, as well as 30 years of industry acumen in the Contemporary and Photographic arts, our team of specialists cater to seasoned collectors and interested novices alike, with both market-savvy advice and personalized, confidential consultation.
Because we do not function as a gallery, we are not in the business of representing artists. Rather, we are an art salon, and function as a buyer’s broker. We provide unbiased advice keyed exclusively to the client’s interest, in order to develop a dually dynamic and lucrative collection of artworks. To those ends, we offer several competitive assets: unparalleled access to highly sought after pieces (sourced from our vast network of domestic and international artists, dealers and auction houses) and our unflinching belief in an art’s diversity of values. We proceed from the premise that the right piece will bear qualitative and quantitative dimensions, and we labor to find only those works of art that both enable the daily pleasure of living with art, and are poised for solid future growth and long-term investment.
Most importantly, we see each project as a partnership. Our clientele has access to a broad inventory of contemporary art works and vintage photography, exhibited between our loft on West 25th Street in Manhattan and our satellite space in Miami. At both, interested individuals, corporations, funds, trusts and collectives find works of painting, sculpture and photography that accommodate a broad range of objectives -- from aesthetic taste, to spatial requirements, to financial ambitions, we excerpt our own collection, and the offerings from the international art market at large, for the strongest opportunities suited for our clients.
