Hackney Downs Studios is a centre for creativity and collaboration in East London.
Established in 2011, the space has been transformed from a redundant printworks to an enterprising arts and business hub. There are three versatile events spaces and over 70 serviced studios and workspaces for creative businesses. There is also a series of rooftops, railway arches, a secret garden and our café The Russet.
Over 100 creative businesses reside in our building, from record labels to florists, jewellery designers to bookbinders, filmmakers to architects, vintage bicycles and a bespoke brewery. We welcome everyone from small and start-up companies to established creative leaders.
Wishing to enrich the Hackney Downs area with positive creative projects, the team at Hackney Downs Studios are dedicated to providing opportunities for the local community to engage with the space, the people, and the events.
Hackney Downs Studios is managed by Creative Network Partners; we also run Netil House, Netil 360, Netil 000, The Russet and Netil Market.
