Golden Thread Gallery is Belfast’s leading contemporary art gallery. We use visual arts to open up the past, present and future, by offering the public a contextual experience of visual art of our time. We create opportunities for people to include art in their daily lives and use art as a tool for making life better. We believe that art is for everybody, and we engage and involve traditionally hard-to-reach audiences through free workshops, educational activities and collaborative community projects that help art enhance everyday life. In our new city-centre venue we strive to be a welcoming, accessible destination.
