Galleria Ramo, founded by Simon J V David and Arch. Benedetta De Rosa, specialises in research-based projects with a focus on emerging artists. Originally starting in temporary locations, the gallery officially opened its permanent space in Como, Italy, in late 2018.

Functioning like a close-knit family, Galleria Ramo represents eight local and international artists who are often in dialogue with the space, a converted laundromat, through site-specific approaches. Striving to advance research, Galleria Ramo collaborates with other artists, curators, critics, and collectors to expand the experimental aspects of the artistic practice. The program has developed into three intimate exhibitions that are often experimental, conceptual, and minimal, along with one art residency where the gallery transforms into an artist studio for the summer period and one large group show.

The gallery's commitment lies in supporting and developing the work of its selected group of artists, allowing for freedom of expression and pushing the boundaries of creative practices through its research-centric approach. "Contemporary" or "Now" art holds special currency today as a reflection of society.
