Galerie Kollaborativ

Galerie Kollaborativ is an exhibition space and platform for non-commercial art and cultural projects. 

Founded in 2006 by Iris Kent and Christian Nowatzky, it has since hosted exhibitions, concerts, readings and film screenings. In 2012, the gallery was an external venue for Pictoplasma. The gallery's exhibitions have also received media coverage throughout Berlin and Germany. 

Galerie Kollaborativ is made possible by the Berlinprojekt, a Protestant church congregation in Berlin Mitte and Kreuzberg. In 2014, the Berlinprojekt received the Volunteer Award of the district of Berlin Pankow for volunteer work for refugees in the reception center Straßburger Straße, across the street from the gallery. In continuation of this commitment, the conceptual focus of the gallery from 2016 onwards is directed towards topics and projects with a concrete social reference.
