Galeria Szydłowski

Galeria Szydłowski was founded in 1996 by Stefan Szydłowski, who previously created the Galeria Galeria in Legionowo (1990-1994), which is part of the institution he manages. At that time, close contacts were established with artists such as Erna Rosenstein, Edward Krasiński, Koji Kamoji, Jadwiga Maziarska, Maria Stangret, Jan Tarasin, and Tadeusz Dominik. An important exhibition for the history of Polish contemporary art took place at the Galeria Gallery. Ping-Pong of Edward Krasiński (1993) or Haiku Woda Koji Kamoji (1994). Galeria Szydłowski was officially opened in 1996 with an exhibition of works by Koji Kamoji. Since then, over 100 exhibitions have been held there. The gallery has been located on ul. Wspólna 53 in Warsaw.

The gallery's program focuses on Polish contemporary classics, combining recognized artists (Wojciech Fangor, Erna Rosenstein, Tadeusz Kantor, Stefan Krygier, Ryszard Winiarski, Maria Stangret, Aleksandra Jachtoma, Jolanta Owidzka, Edward Narkiewicz, Jan Dobkowski Krzysztof Bednarski) with the younger generation ( Antoni Starowieyski, Luka Rayski, Maja Kitajewska, Jan Bajtlik). Galeria Szydłowski has published a number of catalogs devoted to creativity, including Wojciech Fangor, Maria Stangret and Antoni Starowieyski. The gallery is an art consulting institution, cooperates with artists and critics, galleries and museums distinguished for Polish culture.
