Named after its founder, Lebanon born and naturalized Brazilian Lourdina Jean Rabieh, the gallery has been experiencing great expansion. After a comprehensive renovation signed by architect Simone Mantovani in 2014, Galeria Rabieh has doubled its space, which now comprises 600 square meters. This extension allowed the enlargement of its cast of represented artists: Eduardo Srur, Denise Milan, Sonia Guggisberg  alongside Cris Birrenbach, Helen Faganello, Katja Loher, Lidia Lisboa, Ronaldo Grossman and Rosângela Dorazio, with whom the gallery has been working for several years. Galeria Rabieh harbors and stimulates the variety of languages in contemporary art, and promotes critical thinking and discussions about pertinent issues to the poetics of the artists it represents, of which 2/3 are women. Other than placing its artists in private and public collections, the gallery also displays their production in art fairs and works to promote institutional exhibitions, both in Brazil as abroad.
