Future Perfect is a gallery and project platform
based in Singapore, working with an international
roster of contemporary artists.

With extensive knowledge and experience across the Asian region and
beyond, we provide international promotion and representation for
contemporary artists, as well as research and advice for collectors,
institutions and curators.

 


Jasper Knight
Jasper Knight is an acclaimed painter and a curator and promoter of Australian contemporary art. The recipient of a number of major art prizes and grants, he has held solo exhibitions of his work in Australia, Asia and Europe. In 2004, he founded the Half-Dozen artist-run initiative and in 2007, he founded Chalk Horse Gallery, one of Sydney’s pre-eminent platforms for emerging artists. As a gallerist, he has been active in Asia since 2005, realising exhibitions in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and China. Jasper’s commitment to championing Australian contemporary art abroad is reflected in the inclusion of some of the country’s most respected artists in Future Perfect’s programme.

 


Nina Miall
Nina is a curator, writer and art consultant based in Sydney. Formerly a director of leading contemporary art gallery Haunch of Venison in London, she has curated exhibitions by Philippe Parreno, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Zhang Huan, Mat Collishaw, Jitish Kallat and Ahmed Alsoudani. A graduate from the Courtauld Institute of Art,  Nina ran the Public Programme at the Royal Academy of Arts in London from 2002 – 2005. She has written widely on contemporary art, contributing essays and interviews to exhibition catalogues and publications such as Art & Australia. Nina currently commissions Australian and international artists working at the intersection of contemporary art, dance and film for Carriageworks in Sydney. She will bring her wealth of experience working with some of the most important living artists worldwide to Future Perfect’s programme.


David Teh
David is a writer, curator, art advisor and researcher based at the National University of Singapore, specializing in Southeast Asian contemporary art. Before moving to Singapore, he worked as an independent curator and critic in Bangkok (2005-09), and has since realised projects in Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. His writings have appeared in Third TextAFTERALL JournalLEAP MagazineArt Asia Pacificartforum.com and The Bangkok Post. David will be programming some of the region’s most exciting emerging and established artists for Future Perfect.’
