The Frans Hals Museum is a museum located in Haarlem, the Netherlands. The museum was established in 1862. Since 1950, the museum has been split in two locations when the collection of modern art was moved to the Museum De Hallen (now renamed as Frans Hals Museum, Hal) at Haarlem's central market place. Ever since, the museum has been organizing ground breaking exhibition dedicated to both: contemporary and 17th century art.
