The Francesca Maffeo Gallery is an independent photography gallery for Contemporary and Historical photography, based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Founded in 2015 by Francesca Genovese, the gallery is named in honour of Francesca’s grandmother, and opened its doors in June 2016.
The Gallery is dedicated to providing a welcoming space toexperience, acquire and collect photography via three main areas:
An inviting space to explore and experience a programme of photographic exhibitions, and browse books and journals for sale.
A comfortable setting for visitors to purchase photographs in limited editions, both Contemporary and Historical, and browse a dedicated reference library.
The provision of personalised support for emerging photographers and students, as well as workshops and artists’ forums for those wishing to develop their understanding of photography.
