The Fiorucci Art Trust was founded by Nicoletta Fiorucci in 2010 to promote contemporary art in conventional and unconventional ways. It has its headquarters at 3 Spear Mews, London.

The Trust produces artist’s commissions, publications, residencies and workshops every year in London as well as offsite. Most recently, as part of the Public Programme of the Istanbul Biennial, it organized a one-week workshop on the island of Kastellorizo, Greece titled The violent No! of the sun burns the forehead of hills. Sand fleas arrive from salt lake and most of the theatres close.

Fiorucci Art Trust presents annual workshops, such as the ongoing series Roadside Picnic. The most recent of these was co-curated with Paulina Olowska and titled Mycorial Theatre, in Rabka Zdroj, Poland (2-8 October 2014 and 2-9 October 2015). Roadside Picnic also includes New Year’s Eve Costume Drama workshops Party Monster (2013) and Tribute to Ballets Russes (2012).

Every year since 2011, Fiorucci Art Trust presents Volcano Extravaganza, an artist-led programme on the volcanic island of Stromboli, Aeolian Islands, Italy. The intention is to investigate different forms of experimentation across the arts, inviting participants to rethink their work within the unique context of the Italian island. Artistic leaders of previous editions include Haroon Mirza (2014); Lucy McKenzie (2013); Nick Mauss (2012) and Rita Selvaggio (2011). For the past two summers, Fiorucci Art Trust collaborated with the Serpentine Galleries to present Park Night 2015: Christodoulos Panayiotou, Dying on Stage and Park Nights 2014: Forget Amnesia with Haroon Mirza, Mark Fell, Okkyung Lee and Factory Floor, in the Serpentine Pavilions.
